In Phase 1 of the ENEIDA project, Needs Analysis, the primary question we aimed to answer was:

1. What are the needs of Spanish post-doctoral researchers regarding ERPP and SRPP?

Answering this question would be beneficial in three ways:

1. Locating Interested Researchers: Identifying researchers across five institutions interested in ERPP training ensured targeted and relevant future program design.

2. Identifying Specific Needs: Understanding the precise requirements for ERPP and SRPP training would help tailor the designed resources to targeted participants effectively.

3. Providing Context for Future Studies: Establishing a foundation of needs analysis regarding ERPP would enhance the project's long-term impact and the relevance of future intercultural and cross-cultural rhetoric studies.
