The two major questions we aim to answer in Phase 3 regarding ERPP as a language used by Spanish post-doctoral researchers to publish their research internationally are:

• What real writing difficulties, or Writing obstacles in English (WOEs), do Spanish post-doctoral researchers face when attempting to publish their research in English?
• Which of these WOEs can be attributed to the transfer of rhetorical habits from their Spanish writing practices for similar purposes?
